Our Story

In December of 2020 my husband, Loman Fisher III passed away from COVID. He was only 58. Loman was passionate about helping families. He helped lead our church's Habitat for Humanity workday, he helped organize several workdays for the community with Lexis-Nexis, and he spent countless hours helping remodel The Academy, A Lebanon Christian School Pre-school. To help honor his memory and love of Christmas, our family established the Adopt-A-Family for Loman program in 2021. We renamed our program to Loman’s Helping Hands in 2022.  In 2023 we partnered with the Warren County Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. Loman's Helping Hands helps provide clothes, Christmas gifts, a food basket, and other needed items to families in the Warren County area who could use a helping hand for the Holidays. Each year we partner with Lebanon Christian School, Countryside Church of the Nazarene and other local organizations to identify families that could use a helping hand. While our primary focus is around the Holidays, we also help families throughout the year with special requests. We hope to be able to provide scholarships in the future.
